Ammo Cans

I mounted two "small" ammo cans (7.62mm ammo cans) under the edge of my Happy Trail SU Rack. The aluminum plate is a piece of 1/8" x 1 ½" aluminum plate from Ace Hardware, cut to about 14 ½ inches. Bolt that to the lid of the can, attach the plate to the SU rack using ¾" diameter U-bolts, also from Ace. Also bolt some gate latches to the inside surface where the latch closes, and they are now lockable. They are also out of the way enough that I can still mount pelican 1550 cases to the side of the rack.
