Temples at Pattadakkal

This is a really nice complex of temples at Pattadakkal, about 30 Km east of Badami. They charge foreigners Rs. 250 to enter (Rs. 10 for Indians), which is really a high fee by comparison to other places, but it's still only US$5.

The temples here are from the 7th century.

This seems like the main (at least currently mainly used) temple here. There's a guard at the door on the right.
